I have graduated University of Denver in June 2008 with a degree in Digital Media Studies and a minor in Spanish. Within the next few years, I want to go to graduate school for creative writing or further digital media education. Right now I just need to find a job and get my own place. Currently I have an internship with a non-profit organization in Denver doing film production.
Gaming Interests:
I play World of Warcraft and a bit of Guild Wars (Prophecies only). Also got myself back into Morrowind, i.e. past the beginning of it. I took a three-month hiatus from World of Warcraft when I was in London, England to study abroad. I used to play international Ragnarok Online on the Chaos server, but I haven't renewed my account in about two and a half years.
I am interested in table top role playing. I'm in an RPG group made up of a couple of friends from DU (along with a few of their friends) who rotates the role of DM/GM for different systems and campaigns. I'm slightly familiar with Dungeons and Dragons version 3.5, World of Darkness, RuneQuest, and Warhammer Fantasy. I have the nWoD rulebook plus Vampire: the Requiem, and am deciding whether to get Promethean or Werewolf next (hooray for bookstore coupons!). I also have the core D&D 3.5 rulebooks plus a growing collection of supplements. My group is currently doing a Forgotten Realms campaign with a largely White Wolf d10 system.
Other Info:
I am Japanese and was born in Japan. Until recently I did not speak/read/write Japanese because my parents did not teach me the language, seeing as Americans speak English. Kind of an involved story. Even now, though I now know more than random bits from anime and random things from my mom as a child, I'm not very good at it.
While we're at it...I actually don't care much for eating fish. Except for maybe a bit of tuna in sushi.
